Upholstery Cleaning
Depending on the type of material and the degree of soiling on the upholstery to be cleaned, we offer the following cleaning methods.
Hot
Water Extraction
Depending on the location of items to be cleaned we use both truck-mounted and electric machinery to clean upholstery. Blowers are used as required, and most upholstery is dry within 1 to 3 hours. Some curtains fabrics may also be cleaned "in situ" with this method
Dry
Foam
Applied by Von-Schrader system and counter rotating brushes the foam is applied to the upholstery and then vacuumed out with the dirt. Most upholstery dry within 1-2 hours.
Dry Cleaning (Machine)
Some upholstery / curtains and rugs require to be dry cleaned. Most are cleaned "in situ" using special machinery and odourless mineral spirit. Some rugs are cleaned at our unit in Marston Jabbett, Nuneaton.
Dry Cleaning (Hand)
As above but mainly for "antique" furniture as it is a process used mainly for delicate fabrics.
Leather Cleaning
Various types of leather are cleaned using several different methods, conditioner applied to supplement the natural oils in the leather, which keeps the leather supple and then polished or protector applied depending on the type of leather.
